Throughout the vast majority of our friendship, I never knew Luke Wenke to be racist (or prejudiced in any fashion). I started noticing that side of him in 2018 or 2019, when I already had one foot out the door and couldn’t get the other foot out quickly enough. Since then, Wenke has become very open and brazen about his racist and hateful views. I don’t know if his bigotry has deepened over the years, or if it’s always been there and he just kept it to himself for a very long time. But his beliefs and conduct have no place in my life or in civilized society, and I’m sharing the following screenshots because people deserve to know when someone harbors these types of views so they can make informed decisions about whether to associate with or go near that person in the future.
If Luke Wenke had acted like this during our friendship, I would’ve never tolerated it. If any of my current friends began to act like this, I’d stop talking to them. There’s simply no excuse for that type of mindset or behavior.
