Luke Wenke has explicitly stated in his own words — over and over and over — that he’s not going to stop nagging, hassling, and tormenting his victims. So I don’t understand why the authorities believed his repeated promises to behave and follow the court’s rules, but he clearly never had any intention of respecting boundaries. At this point, letting him off easy would be beyond reckless, but I never hold my breath when it comes to American justice. I learned not to a loooooong time ago.
