LETTER: Luke Wenke Accuses Katie of Hacking Court Emails

In this May 11, 2026 letter filed in Wenke v. Valentine, Luke Wenke writes to the U.S. District Court in Rochester while raising complaints about court hearings and once again making false accusations against me, Katie.

Wenke claims he has not attended a single court hearing during the year and says he is keeping the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit informed about what he believes is happening in his cases. He also tells the court that his mother, Janet McCaul, recently called the courthouse and warns that “she is watching.”

The letter then turns to me. Wenke falsely identifies me as Assistant U.S. Attorney Sean Eldridge’s “typist” and suggests that I could be creating falsified paperwork for court hearings that never occurred. He also speculates that I may be behind allegedly hacked emails appearing to come from his federal public defender, Victoria Bahl, and accuses me of potentially hacking electronic devices.

None of these claims are true. I have never worked for Eldridge or any other government entity, and I have never met or interacted with him.

Wenke closes by saying he will keep Judge Lawrence Vilardo informed because I am a defendant in the civil lawsuit, then signs the letter by identifying himself as the oldest grandson of his late grandmother, former Carrollton Justice of the Peace Carolyn Giardini.

“Hello again to the Rochester US Courthouse,

“Thank you very much for the Pro Se litigation packet you sent me earlier this year. Very productive things came out of it already.

“Since I have not been present for one single court hearing this year, I am keeping the 2nd Circuit of US Appeals informed about everything as I see them according to what I’ve been told all year. My mother Janet McCaul recently called your courthouse from [phone number], so she is watching. We have email evidence from Victoria Bahl of the Rochester Federal Public Defender’s Office about April 1st’s court hearing which scheduled an April 28th court hearing, which never happened as well as a May 5th court hearing which is apparently still on the schedule. The nature of what May 5th court hearing is supposed to be about has been discussed very openly ever since February 23rd, as Sean Eldridge clearly agreed to since my mother wast old accordingly from Victoria Bahl.

“Hopefully Sean Eldridge’s typist Katie [last name] isn’t coming up with falsified paperwork for court hearings that never happened, and hopefully it’s not actually Katie behind these hacked emails claiming to be from Victoria. We need to know who is behind electronic devices. Sometimes we can’t tell if it’s Katie hacking our devices.

“Thank you for reading. I’ll be keeping Judge Vilardo of Buffalo informed since Katie is a defendant in his courtroom.

-Judge Carolyn Giardini’s oldest grandson Luke Wenke”
