This page serves as a central archive of letters, emails, and other correspondence authored by Luke Wenke that I have obtained through federal court records, public-records requests, direct correspondence, and other sources.
The collection includes letters Wenke submitted to federal judges and courts, letters sent directly to me (Katie), and letters sent to other individuals. Many of the court-filed letters were written while Wenke was incarcerated and later became part of the public record in his federal criminal cases, appeals, and civil litigation. His court records contain a substantial number of such filings across multiple proceedings.
The letters provide a chronological record of Wenke’s statements in his own words. Across the collection, he discusses his criminal and civil cases, incarceration, attorneys, judges, law enforcement, political figures, family members, acquaintances, and me. Some letters contain accusations or claims about other people; their inclusion in this archive does not mean those allegations are established as fact.
The archive also includes correspondence that was not filed with a court, including letters sent directly to me and to other recipients. Separate public records show that Wenke sent more than 200 pieces of outgoing mail from three detention facilities during a 14-month period alone, although this archive does not necessarily contain each piece of correspondence reflected in those records.
